A planning application has been received for a new housing development in Waterford City.
Planning is being sought for the construction of thirteen houses at the Ard Rua housing development on the Quarry Road in Bilberry.
The plans include a mixture of semi-detached, detached, two and three storey dwellings.
The area has proven popular in recent years, with easy access to the city centre as well as access to the Waterford Greenway.

Five seperate houses will form part of the development, that were originally approved under an application that was approved from 2012.
A decision is due back by the 20th of May.
