A man has died following a house fire in Clonmel this morning (Sunday, November 20th).
Gardaí have told WLR News they were alerted by local Fire Services shortly after 6.30am, following reports of a house fire on River Street.
The occupant of the house, a man in his mid-70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to the mortuary at Tipperary University Hospital.

A file is being prepared for the coroner but it's understood foul play is not suspected.
