Waterford Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision at the weekend.
The incident happened at about 8pm on Saturday on the Cork Road, near McDonald's.
"The pedestrian sustained significant injuries and is currently receiving treatment," Sergeant Deirdre O'Neill told WLR's Waterford Garda Watch, "The driver of the car was uninjured.
"If you witnessed this incident involving a 06 grey Volkswagen Golf, which was travelling towards Waterford on Saturday, please contact Unit C at Waterford Garda Station."
