A painting which was taken from a Waterford City restaurant has been returned
Waterford artist Lisa Keane made an appeal on social media on Monday after a piece of her art which was on display at Espresso disappeared over the weekend.
She said that she is a mother of two boys trying to make a living and that any sale she makes is a huge deal, adding it was totally deflating for someone to just swipe it off the wall.
Lisa asked for the painting to be returned to Espresso, which reopens today, or that otherwise CCTV footage would be handed over to the guards.
Today, Lisa posted another update saying the painting had been dropped to Waterford Garda Station. She posted a picture with Waterford Garda Sergeants Larry Langton and Dave Butler and thanked all those who shared her post.
