The Waterford Warriors 24 hour row in aid of the WLR Christmas Appeal concluded another highly successful fundraiser earlier this afternoon.
Over 240 volunteers took part in the event which began at 1 o'clock on Friday afternoon.
Owner of Waterford Warriors, Gary Walsh, spoke to WLR's Teresanne O'Reilly earlier this afternoon.
"It's incredible!" he said, reflecting on the event, "you just don't know what way it's going to go. At the end of the day you just want to raise as much money as you can and hope people get behind you, and they did. Even more so than last year."
He told Teresanne that they had surpassed €19,000 with donations still coming in.
"If we can beat €20,000 from last year, which I think we're on course to do, it'd be amazing!"
