Waterford is among 25 counties to be included in a Status Orange Weather Warning.
The country will face plummeting temperatures tonight, but Waterford is not included in that Statues Orange low temperature and ice warning.
It's set to be the most severe night of the current cold spell, with minus 10 degrees possible in some areas.
A Status Orange warning has been issued for Thursday night and concerns 25 counties - with Donegal the only exception.
It will be valid from 6pm tomorrow until 12pm on Friday.

Cathal Nolan from Ireland's Weather Channel says although it will be bitterly cold, there won't be much snow.
Waterford remains affected by a Yellow Weather Warning for low temperatures and ice.
