New President elected at Waterford Chamber of Commerce

Waterford Chamber of Commerce has elected Kathryn Kiely as its President for the coming year.

Kathryn who is a director of Waterford firm Glazik and formerly Head of Industry Services at WIT succeeds outgoing President Paul Nolan.

Nine new Directors out of a total of 12 were also elected. They are Brian Devereux, Ciarán Cullen, Derek Lowry, Edel Spillane, John McSweeney, Niall Griffin, Nuala Browne Treacy, Richard Hurley and Valerie Farrell; the Directors remaining on the Board are Pamela Pim, Kieran Walsh and Jacqui Kielthy.

The new Treasurer is Martina Curtin, Jonathon Earl steps up from Vice-president to Deputy President and Danette Connolly takes over as Vice-President.

Kathryn says she's honoured to take over the role and says her priorities for the coming year will be to help deliver positive developments at a critical time for Waterford.
