Boris Johnson says he hopes the British Parliament will endorse his Brexit deal reached with the EU after marathon talks.
The last minute agreement was struck ahead of a crucial summit of EU leaders in Brussels later this evening.
Under its terms there will be no hard border with the North.
Northern Ireland will remain in the UK customs union and customs checks will take place at ports on the Irish Sea.
The British Prime Minister will now put the deal to a vote in parliament on Saturday.
However, the DUP has confirmed it won't back the Brexit deal.
Arlene Foster's party says they have serious concerns about the plans for customs in the North.
It says the proposals are not beneficial to the economic well-being of Northern Ireland and they undermine the integrity of the Union.
The DUP claims the deal "drives a coach and horses" through the Good Friday Agreement over the issue of consent.
