The N25 has been reopened following a collision yesterday between a car and a lorry.
A man in his 30's was killed while the driver of the truck has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash happened at Newtown, Kilmacthomas at about 1:30pm yesterday.
Gardaí are appealing for any drivers who may have camera footage or were in the Newtown vicinity between 1:15 and 1:40 to come forward.
