Three people were hospitalised following a two-car collision on the N25 earlier today.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle collision near Kilmacthomas, at 3.50pm, this afternoon.

All passengers (3 persons) from both vehicles attended Waterford University Hospital. They received treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Weather conditions were inclement at the time with visibility poor in the area. Traffic was built up significantly afterwards with a traffic management system in place.
