The Estate Manager at Waterford's Mount Congreve Gardens says there's as much to see there in the winter as there is in the summer.
The 70-acre site has been brought to life this Christmas with the Woodland Lights.
They're also celebrating a 15% increase in visitor numbers year on year.
At Woodland Lights, visitors can enter the four-acre walled gardens under a canopy of twinkling lights as they begin their festive voyage through the glistening lights leading into the wonder of the lit-up walled garden and Georgian glasshouses.
Ray Sinnott says there is a beauty about the gardens this time of the year:
"Woodland Lights is the final event in the 2019 calendar and we hope that is is a great success, it is now open from Thursday to Sunday from noon to 7 pm until January 5th and it's a really beautiful winter walk experience for all of the family."
Mount Congreve will be closed on Thursday & Friday, December 26th & 27th.
