A Waterford motorist was issued with a fixed charge penalty notice and penalty points on Wednesday morning having been caught speeding near a school.
The driver was detected by Gardaí from Waterford County Community Engagement in the Rathgormack area.
They were found to be travelling at 86 kilometres per hour in a 50km zone.
