Met Eireann has issued a Moderate Advisory Warning for Waterford from 6 pm this evening.

The Alert message from Met Eireann says Cold and wintry weather will develop from Sunday evening.

Showers of hail, sleet and snow will occur in places.

Snow showers most frequent in Ulster and Connacht and especially so on high ground.

The yellow warning will be in place from 6pm today until 3pm on Tuesday the 28th of January.
