The eight migrants discovered in Waterford yesterday have been deported.
The men were found hiding on a bulk cargo ship travelling from France to Ireland.
All were in good health and were taken to Waterford Garda Station to be assessed by Garda Immigration Officers.
Gardai confirmed this evening that all eight were refused 'leave to land' in this jurisdiction.

They were deported, under Garda escort, on a ferry to Cherbourg in France which left Rosslare at 8.30 pm.
