The sun of the last few days has now been replaced by thunderstorms around parts of Waterford, as Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning.
The alert is in place for Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow, Cork, and Tipperary.
The forecaster says there's potential for heavy rainfall and some localised flooding.
Already this morning, thunderstorms have been reported over large areas of West Waterford, into Cork.
