Mayor opens Books of Condolence in Waterford for Sinéad O’Connor

Books of condolence have been opened in Waterford for the late Sinéad O'Connor.

Mayor of Waterford City and County, Cllr. Joe Conway said: “On behalf of the citizens of Waterford, I would like to extend deepest sympathies to Sinéad’s family, friends and her millions of fans throughout the world. The world has lost a gifted songwriter, a luminous performer and an incredible talent.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.”

The books of condolence are available for members of the public to sign at:

  • City Hall, The Mall, Waterford (X91 PK15) from 9.30am-1pm and 2pm-4pm
  • Civic Office, Davitt’s Quay, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford (X35 Y326) from 9.30am-1pm and 2pm–4pm
