Gardaí are investigating an assault on a woman in her 40s at a house in Waterford city.
The assault occured on March 18 and the victim was taken to University Hospital Waterford with non life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí arrested a man in his 40s as part of the investigation.
He was charged and appeared in Waterford District Court on March 20.
