A man has been arrested after a drugs seizure in Waterford City.
It happened last night after a planned search was carried out by the Divisional Drugs Unit under Operation Tara.
€9,000 worth of cannabis was seized at a premises on the outskirts of the city and a man in his 30s was arrested.
He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, has since been charged and is due to appear in court at a later date.
