A man, aged in his 60s, has died after being struck by an articulated lorry outside a business premises in Carbury, Co Kildare.
The man, a pedestrian, died a short time after the collision.
The body of the deceased has been taken to the local morgue where a postmortem will take place at a later date. The driver of the lorry was unharmed during the incident.
Forensic Collision Investigators have concluded their examination of the scene and the area has now fully reopened.
