Major traffic delays on Waterford's Outer Ring Road

There are major traffic delays on Waterford's Outer Ring Road as emergency services deal with a road traffic accident.

A vehicle with a large trailer overturned earlier this evening at the Six Cross Roads Roundabout, with its contents deposited on the verge.

The incident resulted in significant delays on all approach roads to the roundabout.

Delays continue this evening as the trailer is in the process of being moved.

Traffic from the Ballindud Roundabout to the Six Cross Roads, travelling in the Cork Road direction, is completely backed up.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible.
