The CEO of the Cantec Group says that the acquisition of software company InShip will help the company significantly expand and create more jobs.
The amalgamation is part of the group's continued expansion as a provider of integrated hardware and software solutions for businesses.
Cantec, which has been operating out of Waterford since 1994, began selling photocopiers and printers but has evolved to meet the demands of technology and digitalisation.
In addition to its premises on The Quay, Cantec has offices in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Mullingar. InShip will benefit from the support structures that the Cantec Group has built over the last three decades according to Greg Tuohy, Chief Executive Officer of Cantec Group.
Adrian Kelehan, founder of InShip, spoke enthusiastically about the acquisition,
I am excited to be part of bringing together these two great companies. Together, we will be stronger and will achieve outstanding results.
