Dungarvan now has the highest 14-day incidence rate of Covid-19 in Waterford.
The most recent breakdown by Local Electoral Area shows the number of cases doubled in four out of six areas in Waterford in the space of a week.
The data from the Department of Health covers the two weeks from the 29th of September until the 12th of October
It shows that the number of cases in the Dungarvan electoral area increased from 9 to 22, which gives a 14-day incidence rate of 107 per 100 thousand population.
However, that figure is still well below the national average which was 177 at the time.
The number of cases in Tramore - Waterford City West increased from 10 to 23 to give an incidence rate of 102.8.
Elsewhere in the city, Waterford City East and Waterford City South both had 13 cases in the two weeks ending on Monday the 12th, up from 5 the Monday before. The incidence rates in those areas are between 56 and 58 cases per 100 thousand people.
Lismore and Portlaw/Kilmacthomas both had fewer than 5 cases each.

Lifford Stranorlar in County Donegal has risen in the past week to a rate of 610.
There are concerns about the situation in cities with Cork South-Central and Galway City Central both having rates of more than 550.
While Gorey in County Wexford has seen a rise of over 400 percent in the past week to have a rate of 533.
