A new foundation has been set up to raise funds for the children's ward at University Hospital Waterford.
The 'Juniors 4 Juniors' campaign was launched this month, to encourage young people to fundraise for young people.

The foundation is supported by the hospital, and co-founder Joe Daly explains what one of their first steps will be.
"The whole concept is that we encourage young people to fundraise for the people their age.
"The first thing we're going to try and get them to do is to get them to name the ward as everyone calls it the paediatric ward at the moment," Daly says.
The money raised will all go towards the upkeep of the ward according to Joe Daly.
"They're really looking forward to being able to get the likes of new beds, monitors and facilities but the main thing we want to try and do is to get young people involved.
"Once you start helping a cause when you're young - that might go on into your adult," he says.
