There was widespread success for Waterford hotels at this year’s Irish Hotel Awards which were held in Dublin’s Radisson Blu Hotel on Monday evening, October 24th.
It proved to be a fantastic night for the Waterford Castle Hotel as they picked up a multitude of awards.
The hotel was named Ireland’s best self-catering property of the year, while it also won the regional prize for the best golf experience.
Waterford Castle were also deemed to be the Best Castle Hotel in Munster, while Dawn Sullivan was named as Ireland’s Housekeeper of the Year.
It was also a memorable evening for the Granville Hotel on the Quay, as Ann Power was named Ireland’s Hotel Bar Manager of the Year.
There was also an individual award for the Park Hotel Dungarvan as Josh Geoghan was named as the Rising Star of the Year in Munster.
Faithlegg House Hotel were also celebrating on the evening in question, as they were named the best Country House hotel in Munster.
