At this event, which takes place in The Park Hotel, Dungarvan at 7.30pm. there will be experts in the field of green and sustainable energy and you can find out everything you need to know about greening your home, your farm, your business or your community.
Experts will advise on how to apply for deep retro-fit grants for your home or business, how to set up community energy projects, and how to do it all sustainably.
Speakers include Liam Fleming from the Waterford Energy Bureau who will speak about the range of energy efficiency / renewable energy technology grants available from the SEAI and EU
Jane Wickham, Energy & renewable energy engineer with the 3 Counties Energy Agency who will talk about the development of renewable energy and energy management projects in Kilkenny, Carlow and Wexford and Gregg Allen, Business and Project Manager for Community Renewable Energy Supply-Templederry .
There will be a special introduction from Waterford MEP Grace O'Sullivan and guests will be able to ask questions and pick up leaflets on any areas that might interest them.
