Two arrests as heroin and crack cocaine seized in Waterford City

Over €4,000 worth of drugs and €1,000 in cash has been seized following a search in Waterford earlier today.

Following a surveillance led operation, a search conducted by the Waterford Drugs Unit resulted in a seizure of €2,800 heroin and €1,610 crack cocaine.

€1,065 in cash was also seized from the property in Waterford City Centre.

Two people were arrested and court proceedings are set to follow.
