The red carpet is rolled out in the Theatre Royal ahead of this evening's Green Room Awards.
Organised by the Waterford News & Star, the awards celebrate the arts and culture scene in Waterford.
WLRs Geoff Harris and Wayne Brown are both nominated for an award this evening at the Theatre Royal.
The awards will be hosted by Pat McEvoy and WLR'S Dymphna Nugent.
Speaking to WLR News ahead of this evening, editor Mary Frances Ryan says a Lifetime Achievement Award will be given. She added: "We have over 100 nominees lined up which will include 38 awards and bursaries for €1000 to a member of the arts and theatre community. There is also a people's choice award with 10 shortlisted. The public has been voting over the past two weeks and we are also excited to present a lifetime achievement award."
