The Supreme Court will make a landmark ruling in Waterford tomorrow that could have significant implications for Graham Dwyer's murder conviction
It's the Supreme Court’s first ever sitting in Waterford.
Graham Dwyer was sentenced to life in prison for the killing of Elaine O'Hara. Her remains were found in the Dublin mountains in 2013.
Phone data was used to show where Dwyer was at certain times and what numbers he contacted.
However in 2018, the High Court ruled that the laws used by Gardaí to access the architect's phone records contravened EU law and the European Convention on Human Rights.
The seven judges will give their decision in Waterford Courthouse on Catherine Street tomorrow morning.
It will be streamed live on RTÉ News Now.
