Gardaí in Waterford tasked to call involving toy sword

Gardaí in Waterford City were alerted to a possible public order incident in the John Street area yesterday evening (Tuesday).

Reports had been made relating to an individual brandishing a sword.

When Gardaí attended, they discovered that the item in question was in fact a toy plastic sword.
