Gardai in Waterford are increasing their level of support to those most vulnerable in our community.
Community Policing Sergeant Dave Butler says they are "here to help our communities and ensure that people stay safe during these very challenging times."
They have been reaching out to those most in need by collecting and delivering vital prescriptions and helping with meals on wheels on a daily basis.
Waterford Garda Orla Moriarty was pictured yesterday collecting medication at Sam McCauley's in Williamstown.
