A man in his early 20s from Northern Ireland has been arrested at Dublin Port as part of the investigation into the discovery of 39 bodies in a lorry in Essex.
The arrest was made on foot of an outstanding court order for an offence in this jurisdiction.
He'll appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon.
Police in England are questioning 4 people with Irish connections about the discovery of the bodies on Wednesday.
Officers say they're keeping an open mind after reports suggested the deaths are part of a wider trafficking conspiracy.
