Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a young man over the weekend.
The death occurred at a residence in Waterford city at approximately 4:40am Saturday morning.
The man was aged in his mid-20s. A Garda spokesman confirmed they are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Gardaí say his body was removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem is due to take place, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
