Fresh Food Courtyard awarded five stars by Irish Butchers' Guild

The Irish Butchers' Guild has presented Fresh Food Courtyard in Dungarvan with a 5-Star Award in the IBG Retail BBQ Display Challenge.

Jimmy Burrows and his team impressed the judges with their imaginative approach and the creativity of their presentation.

Their expertly crafted selection of products, including traditional and gourmet choices, and their diverse range of flavours featuring mouthwatering seasonings and marinades, reflecting a keen understanding of their customer's tastes and preferences, will delight the taste buds.

"We are thrilled to recognise Fresh Food Courtyard as the deserving recipient of the 5-Star Award for their outstanding BBQ Display," said John Molloy, a representative from the Irish Butchers' Guild. The BBQ Display Challenge showcased an impressive level of expertise and product knowledge, with displays featuring an innovative array of products such as Garlic Lamb & Chorizo Kebabs, Pork Mozzarella & Pudding Koftas, Flame Grilled Steak Burgers, Beef & Black Pudding Burgers, Bacon & Cheddar Burgers, Chicken & Pineapple Kebabs, Speciality Butcher’s Sausages, Dry Aged Rib Eye & T-Bone Steaks, Beef Short Ribs, BBQ Pork Ribs, Marinated Butterflied Leg of Lamb, to name but a few.

The overall Challenge Champion Award went to Paul Furlong and his team at Furlong’s Food Hall in Gorey, Co. Wexford, who stood out with their exceptional presentation, high-quality products, diverse flavours, and innovative approach which left a lasting impression on the judges.
