The cruise liner 'Celebrity Eclipse' has docked in Waterford.
She berthed off Dunmore East at 7 o'clock this morning, and her 2,800 passengers and 1,200 crew will be taking in the sights of County Waterford throughout the day.

Director of the Waterford Viking Triangle, Lauren Traynor, says the influx of visitors is great for the City and County. "It's going to be a great boost to the economy of Waterford City and County and especially to the village of Dunmore East." Lauren added that she's "sure that the people of Waterford will give the passengers and crew a big Waterford welcome and that everyone will have a positive experience."

the Viking Triangle in the City, Waterford Crystal, the Greenway in particular has been a big appeal to passengers on this cruise ship and there's been a lot of bookings made in advance."
Lauren Traynor is encouraging people from Waterford to travel to Dunmore to take in the spectacular cruise ship. "Get a cup of coffee and soak up the atmosphere and buzz in Dunmore East."
