Fire brigades tend to blaze at The Folly

Five units of the fire brigade along with other emergency services are tending to the scene of a fire on the Old Tramore Road in Waterford City, opposite the Ursuline School.

Gardai told WLR that emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 9.10pm, and no injuries are reported.

It's understood the house and surrounding grounds where the blaze broke out are unoccupied.

The section of the road from the roundabout at The Folly (by the Golden Fry Chipper) and T&C Motors is currently closed to traffic, as is the section of the Old Tramore Road where the fire occured.
