Motorists urged to avoid Ferrybank area due to broken down truck

Motorists have been asked to avoid a busy area in Waterford City this morning on account of a broken-down truck.

A truck has broken down outside the Abbey Community College in Ferrybank and a significant backlog in traffic has resulted.

Gardai have urged motorists to avoid the area if possible as they work to remove the truck and free up the road.
