A father and daughter were rescued from the Comeragh Mountains yesterday evening.
The pair got into difficult terrain with fog closing in above Mahon Falls.
South Eastern Mountain Rescue was alerted at around 4.20 pm and sent out a full team including search dog Ziggy.
The father & daughter were able to walk off the hill escorted by mountain rescue and arrived back at the carpark at around 7 pm.

They were said to be a bit cold and tired but safe and well.
