Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fire that occurred at a vacant premises in Ferrybank yesterday (Monday) at approximately 8pm.
The Clover Centre, which has been vacant since Clover Meats closed its factory, is in the process of being handed over by trustees to Kilkenny County Council.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
