Emergency services are currently attending the scene of a serious road traffic collision at the Carriganore roundabout on the Outer Ring Road.
The alarm was raised shortly after 9:00 P:M, where it is understood a motorbike and a van were involved.
A male has has been taken to University Hospital Waterford where his condition remains unknown.
Gardaí have advised that the road from the Carriganore roundabout (Old Kilmeaden Road) to Sanofi will remain closed until 10:00 A:M tomorrow morning (Wednesday).
WLR understands that access to the Six Cross Roads Business Park will not be affected.
People are advised to make alternative travel routes tomorrow morning.
