Update:
It was a busy day for Dunmore East RNLI.
They responded to two call-outs in Waterford harbour.
Volunteer crews were called out for the second time at 3:13 pm.
They towed a 12-metre vessel back to Dunmore East after nets got wrapped up in their propeller.
There was reduced visibility at the time due to fog.
Earlier: Dunmore East RNLI carried out the medical evacuation of an injured fisherman this morning.
The lifeboat was launched at 9:43 to a fishing vessel in Waterford harbour.
The injured crew member was brought back to Dunmore East and handed over to the National Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for Dunmore East RNLI says it was a speedy response and was completed in 40 minutes.
