Planning permission is being sought for the construction of 27 apartments in Dungarvan.
Plans were lodged with Waterford City and County Council on September 18th by Waterford-based MDB Developments Limited.
The applicant seeks to construct the 27 apartments at a 0.394 hectare site in the Shandon area.
It's hoped that planning permission would lead to the construction of two 3-storey apartment buildings.
Block A would consist of five two-bed apartments and five three-bed duplex apartments.
Block B would be made up of ten one-bed apartments, one two-bed apartment, one two-bed duplex apartment and five three-bed duplex apartments.
The development also applies for connection to all mains services, entrance with access to the development from John Treacy Sreet, car parking facilities, internal roads, footpaths, all site landscaping including private open space areas, boundary treatments, dedicated bicycle & bin storage facilities and all additional associated engineering and site works necessary to facilitate the development.
A decision is due by November 12th of this year.
