Dungarvan actor Moe Dunford has been announced as the new Patron of the Irish Film Festival in London, the world’s largest international Irish film festival.
Dunford, best-known for playing Aethelwulf in acclaimed TV series Vikings, is one of the rising stars of a new generation of Irish acting talent.
The IFTA and EPF Shooting Star award-winning actor joins Hollywood star Colin Farrell, and Academy Award-nominated director Lenny Abrahamson as patrons of Festival.
Dunford, who will next hit Irish screens this autumn in the crime drama Dublin Murders on RTE, said he was hugely flattered.
