The Taoiseach has said restrictions must continue in order to defeat Covid-19.
Leo Varadkar has told the Dáil that the Government will unveil a plan for the easing of restrictions tomorrow.
The plan will be phased with measures easing every two to four weeks.
Areas including the progress of the disease, the status of testing and contact tracing, and the impact on vulnerable groups will be the basis for a decision on easing lockdown measures.

Leo Varadkar said we will be dealing with the virus for a long time:
"I know the lockdown is difficult and people are feeling frustrated, cooped up, even trapped. But we must continue what we're doing because it is working.
"We owe it those fighting the virus every day and we it owe to the memory of those that have been lost. As a country, we owe it to each other."
