The incidence of Covid-19 in Waterford is continuing to rise however, it remains one of the lowest in the country.
According to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre, 74 cases have been confirmed in Waterford over the last two weeks (27/9 to 10/10).
More than half, 42 of those cases, are from the four days up until the 10th of October.
It brings the 14-day incidence rate to 63.7 per 100,000 up from 56 yesterday.
The national rate is now 158.5 - a 38 per cent rise on last week's figure.
Carlow has the lowest incidence rate in the country at 59.7 and is followed by Waterford in second. Mayo is in third with a rate of 70.5.
Wexford's incidence rate has risen to 111.5 per 100,000.
418 cases have been confirmed in the south-east over the last fortnight. The average age is 39 and 126 are associated with clusters.
Cavan has seen its Covid-19 14-day incidence rate double in the past two days. Cavan, along with Donegal and Monaghan have a rate of infection per 100,000 people of more than 300.
