465 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the Republic this evening.
84 patients are in hospital, which is the lowest figure in over eight months.
30 of those patients are in intensive care, which is also the lowest figure this year.

The latest news as of 5.15pm on Thursday 3 June

465 cases confirmed:

  • 465 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed
  • this number of cases may change due to future data validation
  • 84 COVID-19 patients are in hospital, of which 30 are in intensive care (ICU)

Latest update on vaccines:

Due to the current disruption of HSE IT systems, some indicators on the GeoHive COVID-19 hub are paused until further notice. Data indicators on the hub which are coloured in blue are now being updated, while updates to indicators in grey remain paused.
As of Tuesday 11 May there have been 1,922,913 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in Ireland:
  • 1,408,105 people have received their first dose
  • 514,808 people have received their second dose
