400 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed this evening, and 7 additional deaths.
The five-day average is 408 -- down from 536 this day last week.
In Waterford, less than five new cases have been diagnosed, bringing the county's incidence rate to 66 cases per 100,000 people.
That's well below the national average which is now at just over 147.
This evening's statement from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre in full:

- 72% are under 45 years of age

- 162 in Dublin, 61 in Kildare, 26 in Cork, 21 in Galway, 17 in Donegal and the remaining 113 cases are spread across 18 other counties***.
