Concerned parents from Ardmore and the surrounding area spoke to WLR News on the chaotic environment which children in Ardmore board their buses into Dungarvan.
Kiely's Cross, located on the renowned dangerous N25, picks up students who wait on the side of the road where the speed limit is 100km/h.
Parents are growing increasingly anxious regarding the dangerous pickup location.
"It is very concerning. It's the evenings and you're on the N25 and you have five cross roads here so that in itself is a headache. Now if you go down the road about four or five miles you pass about three further, four, five crossroads."
The parents believe a solution is already there within the local area.
"The issue could be solved very easily by having a bus going from Ardmore. You have the church car park and you have a GAA field where people can pull in safely, get off the road, drop off the kids and leave them on the bus."
According to the parents, Kiely's Cross has only gotten busier in the mornings over the past few years.
"There's been an increasing number of pupils and cars actually coming here. Three years ago, you probably would've had a third of the cars arriving here and literally this year it has three times the amount so it's the volume of traffic is the biggest issue and the safety aspect of that."
"The mornings are staggered a bit because everyone's coming earlier and earlier. The bus actually doesn't leave until ten to eight but everyone's here at twenty-five to and twenty to just to get on the bus and get in and get out safely."
