Diversions are in place following a collision at the Carrick Road roundabout near Kilmeaden a short while ago.
Gardaí are currently at the scene of a two-vehicle crash that occurred shortly before 3:00pm this afternoon.
Two units of the National Ambulance Service are attending the collision.
Gardaí have confirmed to WLR News that diversions are expected to be in place for a number of hours.
Drivers approaching from the Carrick Road side and from the Carroll's Cross side are advised that diversions are in place.
