Cigarettes and tobacco have been seized by Revenue after an operation in Waterford City.
They were seized on Monday as part of an ongoing investigation targeting smuggling and the shadow economy.
A residential property in the city was searched under warrant and 1,800 cigarettes, with 6kg of 'roll your own' tobacco were found.
Revenue says they had a combined street value of almost €5,900 and a potential loss to the Exchequer of approximately €4,500.
A woman in her 30s was questioned and investigations are ongoing.
