A Chinese student, who travelled from Wuhan to Waterford is in self- isolation as a precautionary measure
Waterford Institute of Technology have confirmed that the student is not ill, not showing any symptoms, but as a precaution is staying in isolation in his accommodation in Waterford City.
The student who arrived in Waterford yesterday, but left Wuhan some days ago, before the city was closed
In a statement, WIT say they have been in touch with the HSE and are being directed by them.
